Recap of 2025

As we close out 2025, I’m grateful for every small business owner, partner, and neighbor who walked with JD Wms Diversity Group this year. Here’s a quick look at what we accomplished together:

· Supported 21 small business owners with guidance, coaching, and resources

· Hosted 8 workshops focused on helping entrepreneurs understand and obtain financial capital

· Held 4 community engagement events to connect business owners, share information, and build relationships

· Honored LaToya J. Wright, CEO of Toya J’s Collard Green Egg Rolls, with the 2025 Small Business Achievement Award

· Closed the year by directing and producing a documentary film featuring 6 local small businesses, lifting up their stories and contributions

Every number represents a person, a story, and a step toward stronger, more inclusive economic growth in our community.
