Judith Williams is the founder and CEO of JD Wms Diversity Group, a business management consulting firm dedicated to helping micro and small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs build resilient, scalable, and impactful organizations. With over three decades of experience as a knowledge expert in Project Management and as a Business Analyst in Operation and Organization in the government sector, Judith brings a rare combination of technical insight, leadership, and community-rooted passion to every client engagement.
After retiring from the State of Florida Department of Revenue, where she led critical operational initiatives and managed complex business units, Judith transitioned her skills into the private sector, launching JD Wms Diversity Group to support the growth and sustainability of small enterprises. During her public service career, she successfully developed and managed four business process units, assessed department workflows, resolved high-level customer complaints, and contributed to the 13-year rollout of a statewide computer data system serving over 5,000 employees. As a recognized knowledge expert in policy application and data management at both state and federal levels, she consistently delivered excellence in service—something that remains at the core of her firm today.
Judith’s passion for small business began long before her consulting career. For over 35 years, she has worked hands-on with local entrepreneurs and volunteered with community organizations, gaining first-hand insight into the common challenges small businesses face, particularly in technology integration, training, customer service, and navigating change. These experiences uniquely positioned her to guide others in overcoming barriers and seizing growth opportunities.
In addition to her consulting work, Judith is a dynamic community leader who has held roles as president, treasurer, secretary, and executive director across various local organizations. She is also a committed communicator, sharing her insights weekly in Tempo News, where she writes about business, education, and politics. A gifted motivational speaker, Judith brings authenticity, clarity, and purpose to every stage she steps onto.
Judith holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Graduate Certification in Community Development from the Grassroots Institute. Her extensive professional training includes certifications in:
-
Meeting Facilitation, Change Management, Mediation & Negotiation, Time Management, and Customer Service Delivery (Florida Department of Revenue)
-
Leadership (Alpha Kappa Alpha Institute)
-
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (USF Muma College of Business)
-
Project Management (Coursera)
At JD Wms Diversity Group, Judith is committed to helping businesses thrive through strategic consulting, education, and a deep belief in people-centered success. Her motto, “Excellence in service is number one,” is more than a slogan, it is the standard she lives and works by.
